A MAGNIFICENT unbeaten century from Andrew ‘Panda’ Waddup was not enough for Fishguard and Goodwick when they made the trip across the Cleddau last Saturday to face Division Five promotion favourites Pembroke Dock II. After a poor performance in their first league game at Kilgetty, Fishguard and Goodwick were looking to bounce back, with a new look team including several players returning after a few years out. After losing the toss and being put into bat on a wicket which had seen a lot of rain in the previous 24 hours, Geraint Harries, returning from a four year hiatus opened alongside stalwart Mike Lawrence. The opening pair made a decent start, advancing the score to 26, before Lawrence was bowled for 15.
