FISHGUARD Sports put up a spirited display, but were unable to prevent their exit from the Senior Cup as they narrowly lost 1-0 at St Mary’s against division one side Narberth. Tony Evans struck the winner for the Blue-birds, but Fishguard were left to rue missed chances as they bowed out of the competition. Division Two rivals Clarbeston Road also put up a brave fight before they narrowly lost 4-3 at home against division one outfit Angle.Jason Griffiths, Richard Bevan and Danny Clarke netted for the Road, but the visitors edged into the quarter-final thanks to a brace apiece from Scott Richards and Ben Adams. Johnston were thrashed 5-0 at home against fellow division one rivals Pennar Robins, whose Phil Thompson netted a hat-trick, with singles by Richard Hughes and Sam Southcott.
