GOODWICK United will face Neyland in the Senior Cup Final at the Conygar Bridge Meadow this Saturday, after goals from Scott Delaney and Rhys Dalling earned them a 2-1 win over Angle in their semi-final tie. The Phoenix team broke the deadlock at Marble Hall in the 15th minute through a Delaney header from a corner, but Angle came more into the game and they hit back five minutes before half time when Chris Richards equalised from close range. The second half saw Goodwick get on top, with Jonny Horgan striking a fierce drive that crashed back off the crossbar, before Rhys Dalling bagged the winner in the 80th minute when he rose highest in the box to score a peach of a header. Angle were reduced to 10-men when goalkeeper Luke Lawrence was sent off for deliberately fouling Dalling outside his area, and Goodwick saw the match out to reach the final for the first time since 2010, when they defeated Merlins Bridge.
